Rambo's Bar & Grill & Uncle Milty's Pizza Palace

"We’ve been loyal customers to Rambos/Miltys for a few years now and had no complaints until last week when our order was incorrect due to negligence on the staff that worked that night taking our order. Normally we wouldn’t make a fuss out of it, but when we had our order delivered and noticed the mistake we called back to see if it could be straightened out but we were instead greeted with a employee that seemed to have had a problem with the fact that we were calling for a replacement pizza. We were told that it was “our fault for not detailing our order better” and that we “were lying about the order”. After we were hung up on we called back again to speak to what we thought was a manager. We explained what the situation was and what had occurred in our previous phone conversation to which we were told that that type of behavior was not acceptable and that the appropriate measures would be handled. We weren’t looking for anyone to be fired or any other harsh actions to take place. We just wanted our order replaced to our satisfaction. We were also told that our order would be compensated due to the whole mix up and bad behavior from their employee. One week later and no compensated order and nothing was ever replaced. Needless to say we won’t be ordering from Rambos/Miltys anymore which is a bummer because their food is great and the prices are reasonable, but good service and keeping your word goes a long way for us. Leez in Somonauk will be getting our business from now onwards."

"We were there on a Friday at 5:45 and it was PACKED OUT! We sat at the bar and ordered. A sirloin steak sandwich and the citrus chicken and bacon sandwich. Both were yummy! There servers worked their patooties off but we're very friendly and knew what they were doing. The pick up orders were never ending as well. If a business is THAT busy in a small town, the locals are known by name and are given their standard drink as soon as they walk in YOU KNOW they've got it going on! Kids, parents, grandparents, buddies, friends all there having a great time!"

"First timers by recommendation. We really liked their atmosphere. Lots of fun decorating. Food (fried mushrooms appetizer, Pulled pork sandwich plate & Italian sausage sandwich plate) was exceptional. Servers were friendly, fun, & attentive. We cant wait to go back & take some friends. Last picture is mushroom appetizer. They were huge caps only no stems. They were absolutely scrumtious."

"Decent prices and a great atmosphere for anyone really. Great burger for 14.50 but it is definitely worth the price. Got some homemade ranch as well."
