"I'll start off as saying the service was amazing our server was very attentive and very nice. The restaurant was very nice on the inside and clean. The food was okay I guess. We had birria tacos with beans and rice. The tacos were by far the greases tacos I've ever had and it made them worse. If they were less greasy it would have been a better experience. Overall W restaraunt L food."

"My husband and I decided to try La Flama for the first time today. We were not welcomed nor greeted upon arrival. We were asked if we were placing an order To-Go which was odd to assume given that it was lunch time and we came in together. We were told to seat ourselves wherever with a flick of a wrist. Our server seemed as if she really did not want to serve us at all. She was rude and short with us. We asked if they offered drink specials (It is Valentine’s Day) so it seemed appropriate to ask, she looked at me as if I asked the stupidest thing ever. We asked what soda options they have she answered in a snarky tone that they have either Coke or Pepsi products and it was sold in cans only. The salsa served with the chips was very watery and flavorless. We decided not to purchase any food. We went to Cabo’s 2 instead where we received excellent food, excellent customer service & shots on the house! I refuse to spend my hard earned money anywhere that I don’t feel welcomed. The vibe was extremely weird, we did not feel comfortable there at all."

"The La Flama team is great. My family and I love their food. I'm blessed that the food truck is in my work's parking lot during the summer. So when I was throwing my wife a birthday party I knew who I wanted to cater it, La Flama!!! Everyone loved the nachos. They delivered it and everything was tasty, like normal. Thanks for making the whole process easy and being so friendly. Great food, great service, owned and operated by a great local family. What more could you want?"

"The reasonably priced food was fresh and delicious. The young lady server was nice, polite, and attentive. I'll definitely go back when I'm back in the area. They need a bigger sign out front to let more people in the community know what a gem they have."

"I've seen the La Flama food truck at the Freight House Farmer's Market. I've had the street tacos from the food truck at said Farmer's Market - they're fantastic. I had yet to visit this restaurant location off Elmore, however. What better time to go than the first Taco Tuesday of 2023, right? I definitely think so, and don't regret the trip in the least. The space is very bright - a few of the walls are painted a simple yellow, one has a simple black and white floral pattern, and yet another has a La Flama sign backed in wood paneling. The furniture adds further color and variety to the space, with standard chairs of red, tables of a light blue, and yellow stools. Add in some strings of lights across the ceiling, and it's hard not to feel a little happy waiting for your tacos. Not that I had to wait even two minutes. After being seated by one of the waitresses, I quickly placed my order of hard shell tacos. I barely had time to glance at my phone before they were in front of me...wow! I don't think I've had faster tacos anywhere else. To the quality of the tacos, they were definitely alright. They had the characteristic crunch and flavor of a ground beef taco with the standard lettuce, cheese and tomato. The whole meal was decidedly tasty and filling, especially filling (6 tacos for $10? Oh yeah!). A highlight of the trip to La Flama worth mentioning separately from the food and the dining space is the bathroom. Not only was the bathroom very clean and modern in furnishings and styling, it had something I've not seen anywhere else in a bathroom: a floor sculpture of flowers. It was unexpected, but I quite liked it after noticing it. I definitely think I prefer the street tacos to the hard shell. I'm looking forward to coming back for some steak, birria, and chorizo on a return visit, adorned simply with cilantro and onion. Thanks for being great, La Flama!"
