"Route 20 is a place my friends had been telling me about for years when they lived in Lake Carol. We finally made dinner happen. If you are looking for a friendly, comfortable, and enjoyable place to have some good cookin, then this is the place to be. Since it's the Christmas season, Route 20 has the largest decorated Christmas tree I have ever seen indoors. Right in front, as you enter there's a salad and soup bar, nice. And then there's the menu which is expensive. I had been told that if you like chicken there is no better place. Well if there is a better place, I haven't nor do I think I will find another place like this delicious juicy chicken. Along with the chicken we got choice of potato. All in all a super place to eat, talk to strangers and enjoy the conversations, and just take in all about. See you guys soon. Enjoy!!!"

"More than " just another rental hall" the servers and bartenders are helpful and friendly. Prices are better than average. I had the pleasure of DJing a private Christmas party here earlier this week. A great time had by all. If you are looking for event space in Freeport area it's worth a look."

"Great stop just off highway 20! Good brandy old fashion Food was served quickly and was hot! We had Boasted chicken, French onion soup, and fish sandwich. Hit the spot!"

"stopped here for the first time for an early dinner on a Thursday night. Thursday night is steak night. The person I was with had been here many times, and says there must be new cooks because she had to send her steak back twice before it was cooked right. Other than that, I ordered a bowl of French onion soup and the size was amazing and the food was great. The salad bar was fresh and considering it was a 1 pound steak for $12, it’s a good deal. The staff was quite busy but we’re still open to our request s. Handicap accessibility was great and we were given seating that was not overcrowded. Overall, a good experience"

"Stopped in for lunch with my kids and family on a Sunday at noon. It was quite busy, and I believe it only gets busier on a Saturday night. Service was quick, and we had our apps in no time. The fried pickles were delicious. The cheese curds are good, however I don’t think they are freshly made only because they are all the exact same size. Again, they tasted great. We all ordered chicken tenders. Chicken tenders were great. My son ordered crinkle cut fries and I ordered fresh cut fries. The only thing I didn’t like were the fresh cut fries. These were just a little over cooked and crunchy. The crinkle cut were great. I would definitely go again."
