"Highly recommend NOT leasing with this complex. You will not get your security deposit back and you will receive a notice from collections stating you have an unpaid balance with the complex. If you try and call the apartment to ask questions, they will not answer."

"BEWARE!!!!!!!! First off, I had no problems while living here & never caused any issues or needed anything & would go by the office in the mornings to tell the staff hi! (yeah embarrassing especially after what I experienced after!) PLEASE BE AWARE DURING MOVE OUT!! I paid a professional cleaning company and took pics/videos of everything. I moved out almost 5 months ago, and during that time was occasionally checking emails about getting my security deposit back but thought nbd if they needed it for small stuff or whatever idk!! To my surprise, I got a text message, for the time ever, TODAY, about collections?? I called… and lo and behold Trophy Oak, who NEVER sent me a letter/called, had sent a bill to collections about what i owed after moving out. I was very confused especially finding a single email in my JUNK MAIL from this scam looking collections company dated LESS THAN A WEEK AGO about this money that I had no idea about. At this point, I was in tears - I am young, single, working full time and trying to buy a house that now I have been informed my credit has a credit hit over this!!!!! I called trophy oak 2x today, with no response. Truthfully, I just would have liked a heads up 1) to dispute anything!! and 2) BEFORE GETTING A CREDIT HIT!!! I was satisfied living there, but in this economy and them feeling too high and mightyy to even contact me about any of this & now won’t even communicate with me. Idk, just beware yall…. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this! Edit to add: I just went through reviews and saw multiple people complaining about similar situations. This is seriously so messed up to treat people this way, especially after forking out our hard heard $ to live there."

"Don’t live here and never will. Did a tour, the leasing agent was rude. Didn’t care about anything we had to say. Immediately asked how much we made and told us we couldn’t get a one bedroom as they have a maximum income amount of $70,800 per household. Walked us to the “model” and the gym was disgusting, there was dog poop everywhere on our way to the model. She stood by the door instead of showing us around. When we asked questions she was very taken back by it. I thought the reviews I read were just dependent on the person. Read the reviews and don’t take them lightly."
