"Got two different responses about the application. One says long as eviction is 6 years old and the other says I have to pay it off first. Either way after I talked to the lady about it she didn’t seem like she wanted to help anyways after disclosing that with her."

"2.5 Rating. Quite Bad!!! I moved in and they refused to fix anything. All the cabinets have are broken, mold in my sink cabinets, and bugs craw all since I’ve moved in these have only gotten worse the more I notice. I’m paying over 1.1k for a demolish home. It’s been almost a year since I signed my first lease and I already want to move due to these poor conditions. They don’t care. I’ve walked into the leasing office and no one would even be there. Always someone new who doesn’t know what to do yet. Horrible customer service."

"Avoid 16Ten East if you can. My roommate and I had moved in last December and we seem to have gotten unlucky. Back when we were applying and getting the paperwork sorted, we had been talking to the old management. Unfortunately new management took over right before we had moved in. A day before our move in date, we were informed that the unit we were moving into was not ready and they’d be putting us in a different one. Whatever, a mild inconvenience as I had already gotten internet and electricity setup. Upon moving in though, our unit had some horrible quality control issues. Missing handles in cabinets, missing shower handle knobs, chipping paint, balcony door blinds that can’t rotate, carpet material on the stairs falling off, and air conditioning that can’t seem to handle summer heat. A lot of these have had maintenance requests put in, and while some were addressed, many went ignored. Couple months ago, the door to my bedroom closet had also fallen right off the hinges. The straw that broke the camels back for me however, is the pool. When we toured, we saw that the complex had a decent looking pool available. However, almost six months into our lease and we STILL don’t have access to said pool. The original reason provided months ago was that the locks were being changed, and tenants would be emailed when it would be available. Today I asked again, and their new reason is that the pool is only available during the summer, as the water would be “too cold” during other seasons. Uhh, sure but like, it’s Texas… I’d avoid 16Ten East. I’d recommend it as a cheap renting option, but it’s not even cheap anymore, just cheaply maintained."
