Outback Steakhouse 1101 North Interstate 35 East Road, DeSoto, TX 75115

"I had went here to have lunch with some friends today and I was very very upset with the service. Upon arriving we ordered drinks and appetizers. We had asked for extra ranch with both appetizers and never got it. We got all of our drinks except mine. My husband had ordered a drink that was supposed to come with a koala rubber duck and we did not receive it when the drink arrived. We noticed the server was busy so we weren’t too worried about him getting my drink. IT NEVER CAME. We ordered entrees and proceeded to wait for our food for almost 50 min. Other tables with far more people that had gotten their after us were getting their food and leaving before we even got ours. Our server had not checked on us once since we ordered entrees. My husbands water was almost empty and people with water pitchers kept walking past our table but proceeded to fill other tables. Our food finally came, my salad was fine, but ordered extra ranch and didn’t get it, however everyone else at the table ordered steaks and they were all cooked different and wrong compared to what was ordered. We were already livid. We wanted more ranch, our checks and boxes. It took the server 20 min to check on us after we got our food and when he came back we asked for boxes, ranch, and checks. He came back with no boxes no ranches and only checks. I was charged for the sweet tea I never got and he did take it off the check. We paid immediately upon the checks arriving to the table. It took yet again another almost 25 min to just get our checks back and no ranch and no boxes. I was so completely upset and disappointed in the service. I have been a server and bartender for 7 years now and this is NOT how I would treat my table at all! I normally feel for servers because money is hard to come by right now and would tip way over what is recommended but because of this completely outrageous and extremely long experience, we only left 6 dollars. Would not ever go again."

"Great food and service, updated to 5 stars after a bad experience on a previous visit. Last time my steak was undercooked, then overcooked, but they made it right this time. Manager reached out to me and paid for my next dinner by sending me some gift cards to make up for the previous visit."

"Let me just say my experience was hand down the absolute best. The leadership staff Ashley and Floss are doing a wonderful job and it shows in their staff. Our server was Sean and I can say he is my new favorite person. He has personality plus, very professional and super attentive. I just relocated to Texas from Louisiana and was scared to try the outback here. I am extremely glad I did. This will be my sister and I new hangout."

"This was my first time at this location. I had a wonderful time the service was exceptional. The food was very, very good and flavorful. I will see it in the bar area and hour. Waitress was phenomenal, the food came out hot and the area was very clean."

"What in the world is going on with Outback? It used to be one of our favorite places to dine because it was always consistent. Not to much anymore. We have tried multiple times to order takeout from this location, but no one ever answered the phone so we assumed that it had been closed. We were driving by last night and saw that it was indeed open, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant temp was so cold we decided to get our food to go, and get a drink while we were waiting. The only reason that I didn't give this location a 1 star was because Josh our server was actually great. We ordered the new signature cocktail - a Smoked Cinnamon Pecan Old Fashioned. For the third time in three different Outback locations, they said they couldn't make this because the "smoker" wasn't working. Strike 2. We ordered 2 of the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad in a larger size. Does this look like a $10 salad to you? No pecans, bagged, chemical tasting wilted lettuce, and the lettuce was huge, inedible chunks of iceberg lettuce. Them not answering their phones should have been a sign - this restaurant is on its last legs."
