"Five stars all around. What an exceptional restaurant to visit, has to be one of my all time favourites in Dallas. From the moment we got to Bob's till the very end the experience was just perfect. Our waiter, Glenn, was great, my work colleagues described him as extremely professional but also showing character and personality. I didn't take a photo of the steak which was the best part of our dinner experience unfortunately, I might have gotten to excited at that point. I highly recommend the blue cheese salad and filet mignon steak. If you're a desert person, you've come to the right place, you can see the monster size desert with layers of flavour in the photos. I think I saw a carrot cake on one of the tables which was even larger than what we ordered."

"Had a wonderful work dinner here this week. The steak was perfectly cooked however, it was a little on the fattier side. Delicious nonetheless. The appetizers were very good, & the wine selection was acceptable. I have to say the staff here are absolutely phenomenal across-the-board. They are incredibly kind, very attentive, and far surpass any of their competitors at restaurants in the area. If you end up going to this restaurant, make sure you play the carrot game throw a couple bucks in the center and the biggest one wins! I will be back next time I am in Dallas!"

"I drove over an hour with traffic to get here because I heard of the legendary reputation of "where it all started" and this was the preferred dinner spot for the other party I was meeting based on reviews. The service was amazing. Our waiter Justin was better than your favorite granny. Making recommendations, telling you need this or that, and making sure you're well cared for. Unfortunately, the tamohawk ribeye was lacking flavor. I like the grill flavor. More of a charcoal or flame kissed flavor. Not here. It was also tough. Chewy. Cooked to medium rare amd maybe came out medium+ but either way not juicy. Bacon wrapped shrimp and onion rings were recommended and to die for tho. I'm gonna say all elements other than the steak which is the main attraction made this into a 3 star. It's a struggle to get it there, but all factors included help. There are much better places to get a wood fire grilled and perfectly seasoned and tender steak. Just my opinion but it's honest. I didn't even have to pay and nothing trumps a free meal but it is what it is."

"We came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and everyone was very welcoming and sweet. We ordered the fried calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. For our dinner we ordered the 32oz tomahawk, very juicy and flavorful with a side of their gouda mac and cheese. I ordered the bobs cosmo and the husband ordered the old fashioned both very good! We ordered the carrot cake to go and it was so yummy and HUGE. Bryan our waiter was super helpful and friendly! The only thing is that our waiter was packing our leftovers but didn’t have enough hands for the rest of our food and another waitress came in to grab the rest of the food us thinking he sent her to help and when we came back home our food was thrown away instead of packing to go. ):"
