Cimarron Apartments

"I came in today to look at these apartments. The office was unbelievably hot. I was sweating in minutes of being there while the sweat lady was discussing the rates and availability. I really liked the apartments. But the fact that they can't even keep their common area cool makes me concerned about how they would let me live there if my ac was not working. It was so uncomfortable. 1st impressions made me decide to keep looking. The really sweet lady at the office had fans and everything going. But it was too hot. I definitely will not ever rent from here because of the 1st impression with the heat in the office."

"Lived here for about 2 years as a university undergrad and overall my experience was good. I would recommend people to live here. The apartment complex is very quiet with nice neighbors, everyone keeps to themselves and it's a calm environment. The community is a mix of families, students, and adults. It's conveniently close to town square, gas stations, and the major stores like United & Walmart. It's less than a 5 minute drive to WTAMU if you're a student. Apartment staff including maintenance crew is very nice and will work with you immediately to solve an issues. The apartments are well sized and generally well kept but a bit older. They're updating appliances as people move out. Cost: Semi-afforable for students, paid $750-800 for a 1 & 1/2 bed (considered a 2 now), electricity not included. Quality: Solid apartments but a bit older, although slowly updating. The only negative thing I can say is a majority of things are painted over and paint is in places it shouldn't be. A lot of dust and dirt gets in from windows and doors, invest in a good vaccum, air filter, and maybe even air purifier. Pros: Quiet, affordable, pretty standard living. Cons: - Paint over a lot of sockets, edges, some specks on floor occasionally. - Windows/Doors not completely sealed, LOTS of dust and dirt will get in."

"The entire staff were helpful and timely. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they do. The office environment was friendly and welcoming."

"Rent is decent. Downside—everything is painted over. Issues are somewhat addressed by maintenance staff; cheapest way for those quick fixes. Noise level is fine."

"Manager is a straight shooter and easy to talk to. Wife rented here a few years ago and had a bad experience. The new management appears to have turned it around. Probably, the best bang for your buck in Canyon, Tx. Apartments are also located in one of the best school zones for the area."
