"I've lived here for about 3 months now and I love it here. Management is super nice and seems to try to take care of the place in spite of not being on the property. (Office is in downtown canyon instead of on site) Hardwood floors are super easy to clean and the place has a rustic, spacious feel. Bedrooms are very large compared to other places I've stayed and the living are is big. A galley kitchen does the job however it doesn't leave much room for a dishwasher or extra cabinet space though I think this is just part of the design aspect. Bonuses include a back yard, ample parking, and a 3 meter walk from your car to the front door when carrying in groceries! It's quiet with only the occasional train horn heard in the distance and pets are allowed. Value is a little better than other places in Amarillo with 2 bedrooms starting at 950 a month (2017 rates) with all utilities included. WTAMU's campus is about 15 minutes away via bicycle. (my prefered mode of transportation) If I had a complaint it would be that fiber internet isn't available here. Amarillo Wireless is the only ISP that serves this area and while it's good enough for streaming Hulu or Netflix, don't expect 4k resolution and definitely don't expect to be able to stream to 2 different accounts on the same network."
