"I've had a decent experience with the doctors here but the facility itself has been the worst I've ever experienced. Every time I call for something small, I always end up getting off the phone shaking mad. It seems like most of the people who work here are jaded and and defensive and do not want to take the time to to help figure out the most efficient and effective way to solve any issues. The facility itself seems to just be out to get money. You have to make an appointment for nearly anything, even if it's a small question that the Dr could answer over the phone for you. I almost always end up with someone who has an attitude. It's like asking any questions just annoys them. Im just one person and don't matter to them but I will be finding another facility as soon as possible. Unfortunate that the doctors have to suffer from the staff being disrespectful."

"Dr. Emily Nelson has the BEST bedside manner I’ve ever experienced in a doctors office. She genuinely takes the time to make you feel heard and taken care of. She is personable, responsive and doesn’t rush the appointment at all. She has referred me to specialist to help with chronic fluid in the ears. 5 stars for sure!"

"If your doctor orders labs, answer your phone when they call to discuss results because if you miss the call, you will have to call multiple times to get in touch with someone. My daughter had labs drawn and I have called 3 times, left 3 messages over the course of 3 days and still have not received a call back. The last time I called, I told them I had already left 2 messages and they assured me someone would call me back and they did not. Still waiting to find out the results. So frustrating!"

"Always difficult to navigate the appointment line. Never work with you on getting in for urgent care (I had shingles on my face and they wanted me to come in 4 days at the next available appointment). But we always stayed because Dr. Bohmfalk was so great! We have been patients of Tom Bohmfalk’s at Georgetown Medical for almost 15 years!!! Dr. Bohmfalk retired (sniff sniff) and we haven’t needed doctor’s care in a year or so. The other day I called the clinic to establish care with another provider in the group and make appointments for my teenage boys to have physicals and check ups required before returning to school. I was told we would all now be considered “new patients” since our family doctor retired. I said “that’s fine, can we establish care with another provider now”? And then was informed, “no, I’m sorry we aren’t currently taking new patients”. I said, “my family had been patients here for almost 15 years, you have all of our records, etc. and now we can’t be seen”????? Yes! That’s correct. At this point I don’t have the desire to come back. I can not believe how disloyal this practice is to long time patients. Inexcusable."

"Georgetown Medical clinic looked clean, organized and looked brand new even though they have been opened a couple of years. They have a pharmacy right inside the building, along with many other amenities such as elevators, automatic doors, very clean bathrooms and even coffee available at no charge. Customer service could use work, but over all we had a really nice experience with no delay during our appointment."
