"So I have been worth colonial for 2 years now going on three and I absolutley love them. They are very attentive to my concerns and they were so there quickly when my house flooded work the storms here in clovis and if that wasn't enough then a stolen truck gets stuck in my yard!! Yep you read it right!!! Although things have been super crazy for them with all the damaged they never let me or my house go to the way side!!! This Italian Girl gives them thumbs up!!! Plus Mr John came out to my house to walk through it to see it for himself and Ms Helen in the front is so sweet and makes sure all my messages get where they belong!!!! If you are looking for a house to rent look no further they are amazing!!! Thank you all in the office of colonial!!!! So stop on by day go and give them a try you won't regret it side not if you do my name is Jill lol..."

My experience with Colonial Real Estate has been exceptional. I have been a tenant of CRE for over a year plus. Helen has excellent customer service, very caring, and genuine. John and Helen both makes me feel valued as a tenant. I appreciate how John works hard to make a wrong right even when it may not be his fault. I appreciate the fast turnaround of the maintenance team. I trust this next year will be just as awesome as the last. CRE continue to keep up the great work! I review ratings all the time, I do hope this will be hopeful for future tenants."

"MILITARY BEWARE!!!!! Do not do business with this company or Southwest Real Estate (same owner) if you are looking to rent, sell, buy, or have a property managed. The owner and her son are dishonest and unprofessional. After we signed the lease and tried to move in the house was not cleaned and needed quite a few repairs. They entered the house multiple times with the owner and contractors without us present, and without prior notice in violation of state law. Ultimately, it cost us a few thousand dollars to get out of the lease and the owners of the house fired the company for how poorly they managed the situation. I suspect Robin (owner) will respond that these statements are inaccurate, but you can ask the base legal office as they were involved."

"DO NOT RENT FROM COLONIAL REAL ESTATE!!! This company is not to be trusted and preys on military families. They tried to charge me over $600 when we moved out. They lost our paperwork showing we paid our pet deposit and we were charged exorbitant amounts for things we were not told we would be charged for at the move-out inspection. When I tried to contact the property manager about the charges, he was incredibly unprofessional. He would repeatedly dodge answering my questions and never provided proof (receipts) for any of his charges. After a month of back and forth, and a letter from an attorney, I finally received my deposit back, but it was still the incorrect amount. Save yourself from being taken advantage of by this company, rent from somewhere else! Also, if you are a homeowner, do not lease through Colonial Real Estate! There was water leaking from my ceiling and it took 4 phone calls before they finally sent someone over to look at the house. By then, there was severe water damage to the ceiling. If they had responded sooner, the ceiling wouldn’t have been ruined."
