"Was just at location was told system is down so they can’t do labs. Considering they sent automated remind it’s little annoying. Made another appointment but clinic stated they don’t have a number despite having a phone at desk. VA in SA stated they have no way of contacting them. So I have to travel to location and hope they fix the issue by tomorrow. Despite phones internet they have no way of communicating to patients. Place should be torn down and everyone fired."

"Worst competencies of quality of care I have ever received. Had to call Patient Advocacy multiple times and still got no quality of care whatsoever. I either get told to do more labs or well will “get back to you” but never do. I asked for a differential diagnosis or alternative treatment of care and never received one. Their lack of etiquette with Veterans and our healthcare concerns is ridiculous at best! The NB VA Clinic should be considered criminal how poorly they treat us Veterans. I had to go to BAMC Oncology the other day to find out that I needed an emergency biopsy even though prior I told my PCM/Nurse at VA NB Clinic that my pain was severe and had major health concerns. If I find out I have had Cancer again and no treatment or too late.. being a “Karen” is the least of their issues. I will escalate to my local Comgressman or Higher governmental Official for support."

"Nurses and NP/Docs are super nice, they truly listen and care. They are going thru some growing pains so best way to reach them is thru secure portal--most of time I get an answer within 24hrs. Some care has been sent to TryWest and that is just fine, clinic is so much closer to me than trip to Audie Murphy hospital. THANK YOU!!"

"This is just a little thing but important. All the magazines in the waiting room are for men. Women are veterans too! Other than that this clinic is average. I like my NP, she’s thorough. Calling can be a hassle."

"The customer service line takes on average 15 to 25 minutes of being on hold before speaking to someone. Also, they can’t schedule you for an appt, you have to wait to be called by another nurse before getting an actual appt. I can see the benefit of getting labs or X-ray ordered first, but I shouldn’t have to wait until the X-ray shows I’m worthy of getting an appt scheduled on the calendar. I wish they would take notes from the Austin VA clinic."
