"1st Off, Dr. jagani is an awesome pediatrician and we did not want to leave her. She has been the pediatrician to our oldest (not to mention my siblings for a dozen plus years). They were also to be the primary doctors for our new born. Since I have military health insurance, there is a lot of red tape to deal with. In the paperwork shuffle, one of my daughters visits was not properly covered by insurance. It took us 2 additional months to get it covered. However, in that time we visited the doctors office (for our oldest) a couple of times and kept them informed. Eventually our newborn was also covered (like we knew she would, just needed time to deal with the paperwork) I called their office to get the issue for the 1 visit resolved. Mind you, over 15 years and treating 3 generations, this clinic had probably earned over $50K from our family. The rude lady that answered the phone told me that they had referred us to collections ($480 bill). I told her that we had kept them informed (her specifically since she worked at the front desk) and told them that this would be covered, there was no need to be impatient. The word 'impatient' must have brought back some painful childhood memories form her because I heard a long "EEEEXXXCUUUUSEME". Now, that kind of attitude I would not take from my 4 year old, let alone form a 40 year old. I told her she was excused, but lets get back to the issue at hand. At which point, she handed the phone to "Jimmy". I am told he is the practice owner. He threatened to take me to court over the $480, mind you that I was calling to get resolved. In essence, he valued his bravado over customer service. Long story even longer: They lost at least a couple of lifetime customers. I am writing this so hopefully others that care about service from their "Health care service providers" will find a different option."
