"The team at Durham Direct has consistently taken care of my family in a compassionate and generous manner that is rarely seen in today’s medical practices. From late night house calls to text messages that quickly answer questions, I have really enjoyed being a patient of Dr Shelley and Nurse Jared. My family and I will be patients of theirs until the day they ever (if ever) move the practice out of Tarrant County. And, of course they are human. They have many people that they’re looking after and if you aren’t entirely pleased with their service, then perhaps a different kind of practice is better suited to your needs. These are quality people who always want to give quality service. Are they always on time for appointments? No. Are they always caring, compassionate and competent in their medical practice? Yes."

"Today is the final straw. I have been working with Dr. Shelley Durham and staff at Durham Direct Primary Care located in Mansfield, TX. We have never gone to their office because our appointments are done via Zoom and Jared meets me to provide any exchange necessary. There were MANY broken promises. The ‘pharmacy’ was blamed however Jared Sparks, a Nurse Practitioner, ‘the’ Office Manager, sibling to Dr. Shelley Durham, AND my primary contact, has been hard to get a hold of via phone/texts. He schedules to meet me and most times fell through. Most recently, Jared scheduled himself to meet me and then he went MIA. He did not answer calls or texts from me. None.whatsoever. I reached out to Lindsey Snyder, also Office Mgr, and she was not surprised. This is not the first time that she has intervened. Most recently on yesterday, June 19, 2023. ONLY after talking to her did Jared reach out, apologize, & scheduled to meet me then. He was insensitive to me reaching out over and over on MANY occasions & NOW that he has texted, not even a phone call! (after I spoke to Lindsey), he wanted to control my schedule. When I was unable to meet where HE agreed due to me having plans already, he ended the interaction by sending a text (still not calling or taking my calls) telling me that he’s sorry we weren’t able to reach a solution tonight and he will re-visit tomorrow. I reached out to Lindsey, also of Durham Direct Primary Care, after that exchange with Jared and she expressed that she had spoken with him and he had already moved on to something else and he would not get the meds to me that evening. The following day is here now, today - June 20, 2023, it is almost 1:30pm and I realize that I haven’t heard from Jared yet so I reach out to both him and Lindsey, as a follow-up. Jared responded via text that he’s ‘…about to be available to come over today, if I want’. ‘If I want’ ??? I have been trying to reach him THIS time for 1 week plus by now. I reply asking for a time because I again have plans and I shared my schedule for the day. He AGAIN goes non-responsive via text. I again tried calling and texting… No reponse. My next text received from Jared comes almost 2 hours later informing me that since I spoke to Lindsey on yesterday and (verbally) shared my holistic business name and website with her, ‘…your actions have caused concern throughout the clinic amongst my staff and after reviewing this information, Dr. Shelley Durham and I (Jared) have decided to no longer treat your family. You should not reach out to us unless it is the next treating physician requesting records.” What?!! Meanwhile, I have paid them for a service! and I am STILL awaiting the medication that we agreed upon. I attempted to call after receiving that text. My call went to voicemail. I followed with a text stating that my monies are owed back OR the medication to fulfill their end of the obligation. No response has been received and it is now evening. No one answers ANY of the phone numbers that I have called, (and yes I did try again today after receiving that text) and there is more than one ph#, UNLESS Jared answers. And I attempted to call and text Lindsey at an alternate ph#, not listed but that she has called me from on multiple occasions, and no response from her, as well, now. These people are crooks! Jared has been my main point of contact representing Dr. Shelley Durham’s office at Durham Direct Primary Care, and I do not recommend their services to anyone! Ghosting me, as a client, not following up with me, broken promises etc. I did not ‘do’ anything. I merely shared of my holistic business and website with Lindsey white we were chatting, off topic, so she could check it out if she chose, and I see that she shared this information and Jared AGAIN does not follow-through and AGAIN has broken the agreement to meet and provide what is past due to my family and already paid (for). This isn’t a one-time action… This behavior has been repeated and consistent. In all of my interactions with doctors’ offices, this has by far been THE WORST!"
