"I went for a annual physical with Dr. Hayat, which should be free from my insurer. But USMD sent me a bill of $110, without any reasonable explanation. I would not recommend, they will scam you with bills."

"Least helpful staff of any office I've been to. USMD flower mound staff are unfriendly & unhelpful in anything but scheduling. Their phone line isn't set up to take refill requests. So happy to switch providers"

"This is by far the worst clinic. I really liked the office and the staff, but their scheduling dept is a call center and it’s horrendous. I needed referrals and I called about 4 times starting in January until the end of February when I finally decided I needed a doctors appt. My doctor failed to send my referrals even after I paid my copay. When needing to see my specialists, I was informed they never received the referrals and that my doctor just “forgot to send them”. Now they are avoiding calls from my insurance dept asking to have the referrals expedited so I can make my upcoming appointments. I’m out of refills and have to reschedule all of my specialist appointments. Every time I call and ask they have some excuse why it isn’t there. I will certainly be switching doctors."

"I have had patience for difficulty getting appointments when needed, actually every time needed, over the past 5 years. I don't go to the Dr. very often but when you're sick, you can't wait the 1-2 days they require. I end up having to go to urgent care just to get seen in a timely manner. In 5 years, I have seen the Dr. once and while she was lovely and had great bedside manner, the practice as a whole needs help. Trying to make an appt today, I was told over the phone that they cannot see me and to go the ER if my symptoms get severe. That solidified a need to change Dr's and warn others about what they are getting into if they choose this provider."

"My family and I have been with them for over 15 years and we finally had enough. It seems in the last few years, their administrate support has gone down hill. First my wife was told she needed her gull bladder removed so they ran blood test. 3 months went by and we still couldn’t get them. I finally had to make an appointment to speak directly to the doctor. The office manger never returned my calls. Then prescriptions were taking longer and longer to get, up to several weeks. Again, I complained and the office manager never returned my calls. I was miss diagnosed when I complained about chest pains and was told to schedule an ultrasound that would take two weeks to get done. Two days later I was in the emergency room with fluid built up around my heart! We finally decided to switch to a different office. My wife and I just felt it was too much effort to do effort to business with them. It’s a shame if they just have a better office manager that cared about their patients, we might stay."
