"Be warned. Please don’t come to this doctor. We are at their office now and they will not see us because we were 14 minutes late for the appointment. We were stuck in traffic due to an accident. My mother in law is in a-fib and needs to be seen. They do NOT care. Their parking lot is empty. They could have fit her in."

"My husband is a patient of Dr. James. He initially saw one of his nurse practitioners, who we really liked. I can't recall her name. Unfortunately, she hasn't been the one we've met with in follow up appointments. My husband recently had surgery, and got off of his blood thinner to prepare for that. I called prior to the surgery and left a message asking when he needed to get off his blood thinner to prepare for surgery, but no one ever called me back. The surgeon gave us a time frame, but told us to go with whatever the cardiologist said. I did talk to someone once who gave me an answer, but I had another question about it later, and that's when I called and never got a return call. So, we just had to use our best common sense judgment as the surgery was imminent. Thankfully, the surgery went well. After the surgery, we called the cardiologist to see when to get back on blood thinners. When we called, a woman named Lee answered initially. She was flippant towards me when I asked when he should get back on his blood thinners. She said, "Whatever the surgeon said. Go by that." I told her the surgeon told us the cardiologist had the final say. She then said, "Dr. James would want him to get back on it immediately." She didn't ask when he had his surgery or put me on hold to ask the doctor. He had a major surgery with multiple incisions. Is it not understandable that we'd want to make sure the timing is right for him to get back on blood thinners so that perhaps he doesn't have internal bleeding? I'm not a nurse or doctor, but that just makes common sense to me. I hung up with her and told my husband her response. He wanted to call back to try to get a better answer, and this time he talked to someone named Karen. She barely listened to him before putting him on hold to talk to Lee. It was pretty obvious these ladies had each other's backs. She then told my husband that Lee talked to Dr. James personally, and that's what he told her. That is a blatant lie as she never put me on hold and didn't even pause to reflect when I told her we were told to defer to the cardiologist. She just shortly said, "Dr. James would recommend he get back on it immediately." These people could care less about taking care of their patients. We will be shopping for a new cardiologist who makes sure he has a staff who cares and who cares himself."

"Dont waist your time! Doctor James always reschedules your Appointments. Im on my 3rd reschedule in a row. He put me on a drug and informed me that this drug has to be very closely monitored. ( could be fatel ) he said if Im feeling any negitive symptoms to notify him. I called the staff that is NO help! I had to go to the emergency room because of my symptoms that Dr James should have seen me or atleast return a phone call! My TSH was critically high. 17.6 .( normal values aor 0-4 ) When I notified the staff they told me to see my regular doctor because they do not work with thyroid issues. I tried to explain to them that this is a side effect from the drug Dr James put me on, and im supposed to be monitored! I stoped taking the drug because NO ONE ever called me. I go to my 3rd rescheduled appointment and the girl at the front says....oh you didn't get my voicemail? Really, im standing here in front of you. No you did not call me. Infact I called to confirm my appointment yesterday because I am taking off of WORK! I only gave this place a one because its the only way to help you not take your loved ones here if you want a doctor that actually cares if you live!"
