Cinemark Hollywood Pasadena and XD

"Great place to catch a flick without having to travel too far if living in the area like I do. Food and refreshments are good. Only complaint is it could be a little cleaner, especially the restrooms."

"So here’s the thing, and truthfully, I don’t like this theater very much. I only come at times due to my friends wanting to due to the close proximity and cheaper than others, which I could care less for, but it is what it is. The bathrooms smell of piss on the floor, the staff seems to just do the bare minimum, and the overall general appearance just screams cheap as hell, but I guess you get what you paid for. But that doesn’t even take the cake with how the menu they supposedly have in the back concessions stand doesn’t even support it. A while back I asked if they had any patty’s and buns to make even a simple cheeseburger and even some fries, and they said they don’t have the materials to make them. If that’s the case, then why in the hell do you have them on your menu??? Either gets the stuff to make them, or take it off the menu entirely and stop the false advertising you have on it. Then there’s the back concession stand that apparently only remains open for certain hours when compared to the main one which is stupid, especially for the weekend. Any and all theaters should have a full staff and concession stands open with the full menu, and all materials to make the good and drinks for people, as regardless as to whether or not there are any big films out on the weekend, one should know better that people will always flock to theaters to spend time together. And last but not least, why in the hell are the soda machines all down, or lagging in to what drink people want to choose from? Out of the 6-8 machines in the lobby, why is it that only 2 are still operational, not to mention they’re either slow to act or have no ice or they’re out of a flavor entirely. This needs to get fixed ASAP!!!! Overall, Cinemark Hollywood is a cheap theater, one that doesn’t seem to care to go all out like say the Cinemark Webster theater with the staff, concessions, food, drinks, and overall quality that it could, and instead opts to simply do nothing to improve things. Now I fully expect to get some response in saying “We’re sorry your experience wasn’t up to par and we’ll do better next time”, but it seems like an empty promise with no effort by the ones in charge to even try."

"Parking lot had poor lighting. Lights either need repair or not turned on. Place was clean. Staff was friendly overall a good experience."

"Gross, nasty, dirty, stinks. All the above. Trash and popcorn all over the floors while employees just stand around talking. Restrooms are so dirty, theater smells moldy and musky. Only 1 coke machine was up, about 6 of them not working. Felt gross after leaving there..."

"We were in a tiny theater, so maybe some of the others are better. I'm not sure. The reclining seats are nice and comfortable, but the tables were falling apart, and mine was very dirty. It hadn't been cleaned after the previous showing. Overall, it just felt like cleanliness isn’t a priority there. I don't see myself going back."
