"Im not someone to complain but i would like to talk about my experience. My first appointment the pregnant RN, im sorry i dont remember her name, was lovely. But my second appointment for my ultrasound was traumatic. I came in recently to recieve my first ultrasound and was introduced to a nurse who would preform the ultrasound. At first things were going great she had a difficult time locating the baby/uterus. She started saying things like "i think thats your uterus" "i dont know im just a nurse not a doctor" and then she said "i think you have an etopic pregancy" she asked about past personal medical history and if i could be wrong, i said i didnt think so and mentioned some light spotting i had 2 weeks after intial period but i had no symptoms (pain, bleeding, etc) and she brought up a transvaginal ultrasound but i was still comprehending the etopic pregnancy. She then wiped the gel off and proceed to say "sorry" with no compassion but when i asked about the transvaginal she replied "well i offered it and you didnt say anything" which was said very rudely. We then did the transvaginal to which she hardly inserted. She still was unable to tell me if she could see the uterus or if she was sure but still seen no baby. Once i was dressed she then said i needed to go see a provider within 7 days or things could be fatal and put on my paper "etopic warning" and i had to show myself out. I attempted to call the OBGYN i was scheduled with but they said with no symptoms my appointment for the 2 weeks out wouldnt be able to be moved up. So i ended up at the er, scared and terrified only for them to look and see the baby and tell me everything is fine within a matter minutes, and it turns out that my conception is during those few days of spotting that i had mentions not once but twice to the nurse which put me at 7 weeks and 6 days today not the 11 weeks that we had intial though. However i understand that the ultrasounds that are provided are free and limited i also know that instead of jumping to conclusion and scaring someone we need to think of all reasons."
