"We have been with HPA for almost 8 years. The front desk clerks have improved their customer service skills and their response times can be better. Cleanliness is kept up. All my children see Dr. Hinajosa. She is our preferred pediatrician."

"Since Dr. Stanley Left The Harlingen Pediateic Clinic, It Is Full Of BAD Service And Negligence, They Did Not Want t To Receive My Daughter And Wanted To Send Her To The EMERGENCY ROOM, Due To A Blow She Received On Her Knee, I Took Her To Dr. Michael K David DC., FIAMA Chiropractor And Said That I Only Had To Put Ice On Her For 15 Minutes, Because She Is In Perfect Health And Has Nothing More Than Inflammation From The Small Blow She Received, Nothing Serious, And Harlingen Pediatric Did Not Want To Receive Her, Since We Have Been Clients Since More Than 15 Years Ago. I Will Never Stop In That Place Again."

"We stopped going to this place after years of trying. But every once in awhile you're kind of in a bind you try to come here again for some help. But they hardly ever have any solutions. Most of the time you come here and say there's a specific issue they think they treat it you got to come back again the second time. This place is just a waste of money."

"My children have been with HPA since birth. The doctors have always been fantastic! I never thought to change providers until recently. Being unable to schedule an appointment is UNACCEPTABLE! I called all day on a Monday knowing they'd be busy, which I understood. I NEVER got to speak to anybody! The automated system said to call back and automatically hung up. I called over 20 times! We should NOT have to call back over and over, put us in a queue if needed, I'll hold 20 minutes if I have to, but we EXPECT to be able to schedule an appointment!! I called again the following day,Tuesday, from 8 to 11 and still no luck. We had to drive to the office to schedule an appointment only to be told there was no available appointments until 2 days out! I saw that coming though, its flu season! Having to DRIVE to make an appointment because nobody could pick up that phone, that's RIDICULOUS!!! We shouldn't have to take our children to an urgent care or ER because we are unable to speak to anybody to schedule an appointment! If there aren't enough people to answer phones, HIRE staff or create an online scheduler if there isn't one already. These horrible customer service reviews date back to a year ago, yet the reception/phone issue still exists! Clearly, management doesn't care enough to work on improving the way the office is run, otherwise I wouldn't have to write this today. HPA, DO BETTER, care more about your patients, they are children!"

"It's been over a year since I brought my son here and when I would, I never had an issue until now. I called at 8:15am and waited on the line for 15 minutes and the automated machine hung up on me twice. When I was able to make an appointment, we were seen right away but when my son was prescribed an antibiotic they prescribed him the exact one I told him he was allergic to. I called the clinic so they could change it but I was on hold for OVER 40 MINUTES. I was fed up by then because my son was very uncomfortable and needed to start his antibiotic as soon as possible. I had to drive over and let them know in person the mistake the doctor made even though I made it very clear to the nurse what medications he was allergic to. I addressed that I had been waiting on the line and the receptionist just ignored me. They said they would relay the message to the doctor about the mistake but it's been over an hour with no call for an update and the pharmacy still hasn't received the new request for his antibiotic. I don't know what happened to this place within the last year but this is ridiculous. I'm going to be taking my son somewhere else."
