"Very poorly organized and unprofessional. I called over a dozen times to get information on a referral and I'm still waiting on a response. This wasn't the first time either. The other time, I never got in touch with the referral clerk so I just went to a clinic in Corpus and got the service that I needed in a prompt, professional manner. Don't expect any good things to come from a visit to this place. Not recommended as a place to waste your time and money!"

"This clinic is not organized at all. I had to wait an hour and a half in my car before a nurse came out to me. They had to keep calling me because I was not allowed to go in because I had sick symptoms, which is very understandable. They would call and then someone hung up the phone. When I called back they had to transfer me four different times because they just kept handing the phone off to someone else. They were very adamant that I should wait by the phone the next few days and to not miss the call about my Covid test. She repeated this four times back to back. After waiting by my phone for four days I called back and they have had the results back...No one was even going to call me back! The doctor was pretty sure that I had Covid but they think everyone has Covid these days. I do not have Covid, my test was negative."

"I waited 2 hours to see someone and then was lectured on how great Trump's actions to stop immigration and to build a wall are. Just because I work at a detention center does not mean I am open to a political assault at my dr office. Why is it ok for a medical professional to even discuss these things with a patient seeking help for illness? #findinganewdr"

"Don't ever go to this clinic. I don't ever write reviews but I just have had the worst experience and feel like it's never-ending. I had just moved into town last summer and was having extreme anxiety and sleep issues. I had been seeing other doctors but nothing was working and I felt hopeless. I was at rock bottom, and nobody at this clinic cared. Dr. Hemmert is an absolutely horrible doctor who had no sympathy and wasn't doing or prescribing anything to help. He just told me "Well, you seem to have some major issues." Yeah as if I didn't already know that! Why else would I be here?! And get this - every question that I asked, he took out his phone from his pocket and googled the answer. Why am I going to pay for a doctor to google answers when I already was doing that at home? Unbelievable. And to top it all off, 6 months after the appointment, I get a call from an extremely rude lady demanding money from me. They're now telling me my insurance didn't pay for the visit so I have to pay out of pocket. I asked where she was going with this and she says "Well you saw the doctor DIDN'T YOU? You need to pay." Her tone of voice was extremely rude. I understand if insurance issues happen but, again, no sympathy. It just baffles me that I now am probably going to have to pay a large amount of money for a "doctor" that googled answers on his phone and didn't help me at all whatsoever. Never going back. I'd advice you do the same!"
