"I've been seeing Dr.Carter for over 6 yrs. Even when she was at MCH. I was 9 minutes late today I've been sick. The girl was slow checking people in 20 min. Later then she said can't see me because I was late..... I'm so sick. And on top of that she said I wasn't allowed to talk to Dr. Carter about anything else like I think I might be pre diabetic because my sugar was 230 . But I couldn't see her anyway because Dr. Carter was going to be out the rest of the week. But I can see the Np Amanda tomorrow. I said ok. I've seen her before. I've never had a office person talk to me like that before or tell me what I could or could not talk to my Dr. About! I felt so belittled.Then on way home got a call same girl said Amanda doesn't see Dr. Carter patents??? I was like I've seen her before that makes no sense. Then she said Amanda the NP doesn't want to see you because you're allergic to, to many medications! I'm like what? Yes I'm old and am allergic to a lot of medications as we have found out through the years when past Drs. Have given me medications and I've had a bad reaction to them even ended in the hospital because of them, but to be turned away sick because I'm allergic to medications is ridiculous. It's true I don't trust a lot of Drs. because they give medications to you for everything sometimes ones you don't need. That's why I trust Dr. Carter because she's a good Dr. and listens, And doesn't do that. But the new people she has working doesn't care about the patients and are rude and nasty. And yes, I will have to go to another Dr now and be afraid they might give me the wrong medications because they don't listen like she does,because I'm sick and have a upper respiratory infection and I was very hurt that they didn't care that I was sick, and talked to me and treated me with such disrespect. I didn't deserve to be talked to or treated that way. I wasn't rude or disrespectful to them, I just don't understand why I was talked to or treated that way."
