"First he came into my room and didn’t even know my symptoms, he stated I had pneumonia. I told him I had packing left inside of me. He said well that’s not a big deal I didn’t do it. I could of went septic and lost my life after just having my first child Overall he has bad bedside manners and had the audacity to argue with us while I’m in pain"

"Going into labor for the first time. I was scared, anxious, excited, forgetful, and in pain. All of these emotions at once, while rushing to the ER from Hobbs, NM at 5 in the morning with my husband. From the initial point of entrance, we were immediately taken care of. My contractions were 3-4 mins apart throughout the entirety of the 34 hours of labor. The entire nursing staff that took care of us were amazing. We went through quite a few shift changes, and everyone stepped in knowledgeable and prepared. They kept me as comfortable as possible. I definitely did not make it easy on them bc I metabolize medicine very quickly. I would have an hour here and there of excruciating pain, but the nurses were on top of it and getting me back on track to being comfortable. Overall, my husband and I felt we had Dr. Parkey and his amazing team of nurses supporting us through this experience. Jazmine, Elaine, Trinity, Suzanne, and so many others. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, and reliable. Dr. Parkey came in on his day off to deliver our baby girl. He handled me and her so well, and I’m so grateful our girl had a natural birth. We did have a slight problem during delivery where our girl had to be helicopted to Lubbock for breathing and consuming meconium. Parkey and the nursing staff took care of her immediately, getting her stable, and setting her up for transportation. One of the nurses who helped with the delivery, Elaine, even stayed 2 extra hours passed her shift time just to make sure our baby was okay after delivery, and to say goodbye to us. I was released to go later that same day after meeting the requirements needed. Before my husband and I jetted for Lubbock, Trinity, and Suzanne set us up so well for our unexpected travels. We couldn’t have imagined having a better support system then this group. Dr. Parkey from our first visit to our delivery, has just been amazing. If we are blessed with more babies in the future, we are for sure going back through him and his amazing staff."

"I moved to Hobbs, New Mexico from San Antonio, Texas & I was quite nervous having to look for a new Dr being i was 34 weeks pregnant. Dr Parkey made the transition pretty smooth and easy and was comforting. He made me feel comfortable with his bedside manners. His office is pretty busy which is understandable considering he is general dr and being the chief of hospital comes unexpected meetings and critical patients. When you have a good Dr that cares about your health, the wait time doesnt matter."

"My family moved to Hobbs in July. I was 6 months pregnant when I transferred to Dr. Parkey. My first visit wasn't the greatest. The waiting room was packed, I waited 2 hours to see him, and felt rushed. My visits following were the complete opposite. I didn't wait as long and Dr. Parkey listened as I shared my biggest concern. Dr. Parkey was aware that I hemorrhaged during my first delivery. He reassured me that I would not experience what I had the first time. He and the nursing staff took this very seriously and had a trauma kit ready during my delivery incase of an emergency. Thankfully we didn't need it. My hospital experience was beyond amazing. All of the nurses were the best. Dr. Parkey makes sure every family enjoys a nice dinner before they leave. We were served a delicious steak lunch the day we were discharged. We also went home with a new carseat!!! All in all my experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend Dr. Parkey to anyone. Do not get discouraged if you have to wait to see him. He is worth the wait!"

"Dr. Parkey has delivered both of my babies. My first almost 10 years ago, my second just a few months ago. Both experiences were wonderful. I have always felt safe, heard, and cared for. He is goofy and down to earth which is so fun whenever you catch him whenever he isn’t as busy, but very knowledgeable and experienced! He is a very in-demand doctor so yes sometimes there is a long wait but i wouldn’t compromise quality for quick visits. Also, the nurses in labor/delivery are SO incredible and are extremely attentive to your needs. They are truly the best of the best. I have nothing but good things to say whenever i tell people about my doctor and am proud to recommend him to anyone!"
