"I don’t know where all these high ratings are coming from but I certainly didn’t receive it. I was recommended buitron for immigration attorney by my brother in law and his clients at his salon. My wife and I had high hopes. We received the absolute opposite. The consultation was very bland and dodgy. I should’ve known that was a red flag. We filed for my wife’s DACA to prepare for green card. Later on, DACA was on hold and we weren’t even notified. We reached out about us moving and how if affects our case and they blantly said DACA was on hold until further notice. Had we NOT asked about that, we wouldn’t have known about the court ruling on DACA. Ok, I get it. DACA is on hold, nothing y’all can do about it until further notice, I understand that but where’s the top notch service I heard? I wanted to speak to the attorney, my attorney, Tania Buitron herself. Apparently, as a PAYING client who HIRED my attorney, I have to make an appointment 1-3 months for a CHANCE to speak to her, otherwise it would be Jackie, the assistant who can’t give legal advice. So here I am, stuck, put on the back burner for months, NO COMMUNICATION, no confidence, no reassurance. I wanted to file malpractice so bad and even spoke to the super rude demeaning office guy who runs the finance part but technically they did what they were supposed to: file for DACA. It was terrible how they handle it but they did it. I don’t like their type of execution or how they run their firm. All these high ratings below me, idk if y’all got low standards or just don’t care but the way my attorney handle things was sloppy and no communication. I understand she’s very busy, but I also paid a hefty price, so I would myself need some care and attention. 5 months, the only communication we got was when when WE reach out to them. Are you serious? I’ve moved across the country and hired a much better lawyer. Who already in the consultation went “BAM BAM BAM, here’s our plan, back up plan, angle of attack”. He’s already requested files so let’s hope things work out. But Buitron law firm, speechless….in a very bad way. So disappointed. Waste of money. Especially when money isn’t a value in this case, I felt like I was robbed. You live and learn. Highly recommended TO GO ELSEWHERE"
