"The park is in disarray. What's left of it is still usable. City needs to invest time to get this park back in working order. Get rid of the sand park and put new equipment in."

"Amazing area to spend time on the water, go catfishing, let the kids play on the playground, and others. I've been exploring the rivers and lakes of my hometown and would definitely recommend this spot for live bait (shad). A ton of shad live here and are extremely easy to catch. I often catch Chanel catfish here and bring home for filets. My wife let's the filets sit in buttermilk over night to get the mud tast out and it works!"

"Great, quiet place to take in scenery and find your peace of mind. You also might catch a fish or two, if you're into that sort of thing."
