"Really nice campground right off of the lake. The Marina is within walking distance. Half the campground is a large loop around a very lage grass patch. It has a volleyball net in the middle for people to play. It is a great area for the kids. The other half is more wodded, with more of a mountain feel to it."

"Electric/water hookups nice park area friendly staff. River within walking or riding distance. Restrooms/showers within the two loops. If you get one of the sites close to the road behind you that is a hwy so you will have that noise but it’s not to bad. That road takes you to Murray about 22 miles away and they have an excellent laundromat (Iwash). If we come back this way I hope we can stay again"

"My wife and I are first timers at this camp ground and we loved it. The camp sites could get crowded if it was packed but in our experience we had only three other families around and on opposite side of us so it was pretty quiet. The bathrooms we not bad and had showers. The traffic noise was minimal with the occasional big truck passing by. The campground has a small shop with basic items as well as ice and bundles of wood. Be sure to bring cash for it is cash only for wood ($5) a bundle. The staff were supper friendly and helpful. We went on a hike not far on the other side of the highway, you can drive or walk there just ask the staff. The trail was very clean and quiet with well kept paths and obvious trail markers so you don't get turned around. We took our time and spent a little bit at the beach, it's easy to be gone for 2 hours or more. When you get far into the trail there is a loop that leads to a Pebble beach with lots of cool shells and rocks. On the way back we saw trail workers maintaining one of the trails we passed by and I loved to see that. On a side note after the trail we enjoyed some ice cream from the shop and sat on a hill next to the shop and looked over the harbor. There is a restaurant at the harbor but we didn't go there. All in all I highly recommend this camp ground. We enjoyed our stay, thank you to the workers and staff for making it so."
