Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Kingwood/Houston

"I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. I was skeptical as I'd not heard of this brand before, and I personally was not looking forward to my visit, but my experience at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was HUGE! Two queen beds, a full-length closet, a nearly full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher with fully-stocked kitchen and utensils for anything we might need, and a living area with a comfortable pull-out sofa, and what appeared to be a brand new bathroom. My room was very roomy, private, and quiet. I never heard other visitors in their rooms or hallways. The entire hotel was so clean that I asked how long they'd been open, and I was shocked to hear they'd been open almost a year. The place looked brand new! There is a bar with happy hour and appetizers that I took full advantage of. The cocktails were good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was different both mornings with a variety of fresh cooked protein and healthy options to fuel me for my day. I did not have time to visit the pool or the gym, so I can not speak for those areas, but the gym looked like updated equipment in good condition. The only complaints I would have about my entire experience was that the pillows were too soft for a side sleeper (I like a firm pillow and had a tough time sleeping) and that they had Fox News on 24/7 in the lobby/dining area. I feel like in these divided times, public places should have more neutral programming as anything political refects on their brand as a whole. Despite my distaste for the dining "entertainment," my experience as a whole was very positive. I would stay there again."

"The room was nice. Only drawback was the strong scent of bleach in the bedding. I could feel a burning sensation on my skin. Breakfast was good. Everyone we saw working there was personable and friendly. I didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful patio outdoors or the well kept fitness room."

"The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are new and clean, and they are well stocked with everything you could need. There are restaurants very close by too. I’ve stayed here twice and plan to on future trips."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and it was amazing. The hotel was beautiful and located in a great spot with multiple activities around. I was greeted immediately with a smiling face upon my arrival. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great and I was able to enjoy it outside on the patio. Later, I enjoyed a drink at the bar. Overall, wonderful experience and I will definitely be back."

"We had an incredible stay, rooms are very spacious, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee marker and full size fridge. The staff was amazing. The bar down in the lobby was great the have a Bartesian Premium Cocktail Maker which made the prefect drink with just a push of a button. Breakfast was fantastic fresh fruit and the best waffles I have ever had. Great seating area outside by the fire pit or pool side with 2 BBQ pits. We will defiantly be back and recommend to are friends and family. BEST HOTEL IN THE AREA."
