La Colombe d'Or hotel

"I stayed with my partner in the Renoir suite of the main house. The suite was beautifully designed, a delightful mix of modern and 1920’s-esq design elements. The mansion is incredible, like staying in a luxury art museum. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant on the main level and the rooftop pool and gym in the tower. This is our favorite hotel in Houston and we will definitely be back. All the staff was kind and accommodating, Brian B went above and beyond to make our stay amazing."

"No elevator in the rooms above the bar. Valet does not greet people and the front desk people seems angry at something. Bar is extremely loud and front desk does not care. Don't understand why the front desk team are on their cellphones. I also noticed the front desk agents shopping online and on YouTube on the hotel computer."
