AC Hotel by Marriott Houston Downtown

"This was my first time staying at the AC Hotel in Houston, the area was perfect. The bar was nice. You can easily access the train if necessary. The valet people were nice. The rooms were great and we had an amazing view! 10/10 recommend."

"The room is nice and new. The hotel location is great if you aren’t sensitive to noise. The noise didn’t bother us. But, the worst part for us was the valet service. We paid a total of $60+ after adding tax, and service fee (coz we had to pay via a web app). When we got the car back, there was a giant crack on the windshield and the bumper on the passenger side was damaged. We called the hotel to report, the staff put us on hold for 20 mins the first time. We hung up and tried again 3 times before they connected us with the General Manager’s voicemail. Still waiting for a call back from the hotel…"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the AC Marriott Hotel, The hotel room itself was spacious, comfortable, and meticulously clean. However, one minor drawback was the absence of a microwave, which could have been convenient for guests looking to heat up snacks or leftovers. One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional valet service provided by Cesar, AJ, Sky, Gerardo, and Sevin. They truly went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience, promptly bringing my car to the front entrance whenever needed. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, from opening and closing my car door with a smile to efficiently handling my luggage with care. It was undoubtedly the best valet experience I've had, and as someone who travels frequently, that speaks volumes."

"Absolutely love this hotel. The Metro rail didn't bother my sleep, but once I'm out, I'm out. I can't speak for light sleepers. I also caution you against the homeless population in the area. The hotel has security on the premise at night and you can't just walk in without your key but it's something to be mindful of. Parking is offered through the valet but I'm frugal and didn't like their price point. Be mindful of where you park if you park on the street. I have a ticket for parking in a commercial loading spot that's by Finn Food hall. The hotel location is outstanding. Walking distance from so many options. I recommend it."

"This hotel is in a great location, allowing easy access to numerous local restaurants and bars. However, the noise from the streetcar and general street activity can be quite overwhelming and make it hard to sleep. On the plus side, the hotel has excellent security measures in place. Keep in mind that valet service might take some time, so it’s advisable to call well in advanced when you need your vehicle. Overall, the rooms were clean and the hotel staff was helpful."
