"My son had a baseball tournament at the Univ of Houston recently, and we needed a healthy room at a fair price. We had read the reviews of this hotel, and decided to stay here. We are so thankful we did. For the price I can’t imagine getting a better room. The rooms have recently been updated with nice hard floors throughout. They were spotless. There is a 42 inch flat screen on the wall with cable access to over 70 channels. Our room had a min fridge and a small microwave. Our two beds were KING beds. Beds were good. And most importantly the AC blew COLD! The manager/owner (Paul) was so kind. And easy to help my accommodations. They had a hail storm on Friday night that knocked out the power for an evening (thankfully the AC wasn’t knocked out). Paul offered to comp the night’s stay. Very kind of him. (We declined since it wasn’t his fault). If you are looking for a no frills, safe, clean, affordable place to stay close to U of H, look no further."

"This motel is an affordable option close to a Houston metro rail station. The rooms are clean. You can't beat the price. We stayed here for a weekend event at the convention center down town. It is 2 metro stops away. It's a clean, no frills, no hassle room at a fair price."

"It may not be the newest or nicest building but it’s close to downtown and a quick train ride to the stadiums and the theater district. And a great price. And the owners/operators are great folks who really treated me fair, kindly, and decently even though I was in the wrong, they still were very kind to me. I give them 5 stars."

"Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable check in/out was easy, no issues at all. The surrounding area is a little sketchy but I never felt unsafe while on the grounds. Stayed for 1 night and didn't have any problems at all. Very convenient location for going downtown to concerts or events. You will hear road noise and trains going by at night, but I don't mind that personally. Overall good experience!"
