Courtyard by Marriott Houston Kingwood

"Courtyard is a good brand and you can expect that you'll have a good experience for the most part. The staff here is what I have come to expect from the brand, but... Where this location loses points is on the details. An empty box of tissue in the room, an AC that didn't work (although I only found out on my last morning since the weather was so mild, I'm sure it would have been fixed), "we're out of..." At the bistro. Also, the gym is very minimalistic. I'd stay again over many other hotels on the area, but minor details go a long way."

"Horrible experience..! Went her for New Years and I got no rest what so ever..! What ever you do not get room 324... The toilet continued to run like the sink was on (very loud I might add) Then about 3am the air conditioner sounded like it was about to blow up in the window so yet again I was woken up.. Since I was up I had to go to the bathroom therfore I had to hear the loud water running again for about 20 mins.. Finally get back to sleep only to be woken up again about 8:30am which normally wouldn't be an issue IF I WAS ABLE TO GET SLEEP THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.. However, house keeping was out in the hall yelling back and forth to each other like it was a fire in the building.. Banging doors slamming it was ridiculous.. So needless to say at that point I had enough I got up packed and left..! Money down the drain I could have just spent the night in the lobby may have been able to sleep and for free..... P.S if you don't plan on sleeping this is the place for you..!"

"My wife asked for pillows twice, I came downstairs and asked again. Nothing. Wife said they told her they had no extra pillows. Later that evening after the chubby white dude was off there was a young black gentleman working. He found us 3 pillows in minutes for my wife and boys. They have no breakfast. There are places down the road for half the price, Nicer and bigger rooms with fridges, breakfast and much better service. I’ll never stay at this Marriott in kingwood again. Poor value ."

"This was actually back in April. Made a reservation with points and received an email with confirmation number, pts deducted and everything. Got there and was told that room wasn't available and our only option was cancel and pay cash for one of their more expensive rooms. Unfortunately we weren't aware of the Marriott reservation guarantee until later."

"This facility is geared to the business travelers in that the rooms are smallish but provide everything a business person needs, including breakfast, dinner and happy hour. The facility was very clean and mostly quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. In addition, if you don’t qualify for the meals based on your loyalty level, the facility is surrounded by all types of eateries depending on your preferences."
