"I had an amazing experience staying at the Moxy downtown Houston. Terry and his team went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were stylish and modern, the lobby was perfect for taking photos, and the cocktails were delicious. I didn't feel the need to leave the hotel to experience all that Houston has to offer. Thank you for the hospitality and great service, I will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Pros: The staff is really nice. They have a DJ at the bar/lobby most days, and you get a complimentary cocktail at check-in. The room was really clean and the hallways and lobby seemed clean too. Its located on the same block as a convenience store, some great restaurants, and a coffee shop. The room has a white noise machine, which is a nice gesture because.... Cons: It is impossibly loud here. I could not tell if the noise was coming from surrounding businesses or if the hotel lobby DJ was still working on a Sunday night, but between the loud music and constant announcements from the DART station, it was one of the worst nights of sleep I've had in a long time. The bed is also rock hard and the sheets are not soft. The room was so hot I turned the thermostat completely off despite it being 35 degrees outside. And it was still warm. The rooms are tiny, which wasn't a problem because I was only in for a night, but they are WAY smaller than they appear online. The location, customer service, and atmosphere have potential, but I would not stay here again due to the noise and uncomfortable bedding."

"The scenery is nice, besides that everything else is 0/5 . When we arrived to the room it was blood spots in the shower and also no shower gel to use. Room service doesn’t clean rooms when you step out. There are no refrigerators nor microwaves in the rooms. My boyfriend called downstairs to tell them about the shower and she responded with “Alright Man I’ll be up”. Also, music is being played all night at the bar .Would not stay here again."

"What an amazing new hotel in downtown Houston! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, you might look elsewhere. But if you want a fun hotel experience with a cool mod vibe and a great bar surrounded by fun nightlife, then this is your place! Great drinks at the bar with great happy hour and different specials throughout the week. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in an old building. My only request would be a mini fridge, as there is not one in the room. Overall, clean and fun hotel with a great staff. We will definitely be back!"
