"I checked into this hotel and had to wait for several minutes while 1 person checked people in and the other two just flitted around doing what seemed to be nothing. While I was checking in the person who was checking me in talked crap about another hotel guest that just asked about water bottles. She thought it would be cute and I would sympathize with her about how hard she had it. That did not happen. So I know she had something to say about me when I walked away after our second interaction which was as follows. When I finally got to my room the lock did not work and looked as though it had been tampered with. When I went back down I was dismissed and told that that had nothing to do with how the lock works. Even if 100% true, maybe think about how your guest feels and just offer another room. This is the last time I’ll ever stay here and you shouldn’t either."

"The location of this place is amazing, lots of cute restaurants near by, the staff is awful. The only reason why we ended up staying was because the young girl Miranda on night shift was so nice to us. House keeping never came once, the lady that works in the AM was talking bad about people checking in and called us liars. Would not recommend"

"Our 3 night reservation quickly became overnight stay. THE ROOM: The most memorable thing about this stay was the SHOWER THAT I TOOK WITH THE TOILET. The shower has no door or curtain and the tiled walls and floor flow directly from the toilet over into the shower space. It felt unsanitary especially for $180+ per night. The BEDS were comfortable enough the room was nice enough but the shower area ruined the room for us. Many of us didn’t even shower and preferred to wait until we found a new hotel to shower. PARKING: If you valet you pay $50 even if you check in after midnight and another $50 in the morning at checkout, with no access to your vehicle between 2-6am. Valet took an hour almost to send the link to request the car back and the Front desk doesn’t even have anything to help you reach valet. SERVICE: the front desk was not helpful, quite dismissive and seemed too busy to do their job. Luckily Security was more helpful. AMENITIES: The hotel was clearly designed with thought and creativity but there was nothing bold or exciting about it. Most everything was broken, peeling, scratched up, wobbling or visibly FILTHY. The roof top bar/lounge/pool area was either poorly designed or poorly maintained. It was dark, cold, uncomfortable and dirty. Long story short we will not be back and have already warned a handful of people about this Aloft experience."

"Nice hotel with not a lot of amenities. No food included. Provided coffee for free. Room was nice except for the shower temperature. Very low pressure and took a long time to get the right temp. It was either scolding hot or ice cold. No parking at the hotel except for a very expensive valet service. Great location. Very close to the main drag with bars and restaurants."

"The Hotel is old, I can tell from the carpets and the rooms. However, it is clean and I have no problems at all, 3 things happened warranted the 3 stars rating. 1- I stayed for 4 nights, my room service was not completed except once and I had to call for my room to be done which is very inconvenient 2-the shower shampoo, body wash and conditioner are available and by design should be hung on the shower wall, body wash bottle hanger was broken and left to me by the sink where it did not belong! 3- Valet service was decent, however they always forgot to send me a link to call my car next morning and if you are in a hurry you are out of luck! Even the receptionist do not have their number."
