"This Marriott did not live up to the name. Where to start?? No free breakfast for the paying guests. That's very shady. The carpet in the lobby needs to be cleaned. Sour smell in the area. The room had no fixtures to plug personal devices in and no outlets by the beds. No clock in the room. The bathroom. The toilet ran. The faucet in the bathtub leaked. I am so glad a friend of mine booked this hotel and not myself. I could get a better motel than this. I would not recommend this hotel"
"I was DELIGHTED with my stay at this hotel!!! The price is very reasonable for the amenities provided. The staff was very friendly and accomodating...dinner and breakfast were top notch...the room was spacious, clean and quiet...loved the glass elevator up to the high floors and the atmosphere in the hotel! The airport shuttle is an added plus! Really...from start to finish...a perfect way to end my stressful visit to help an ill friend. In fact, I just booked another stay for later this month"
"Everything was great, from the staff's customer service, the room service, the fitness center and pool, to the secured parking. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Great lobby with excellent breakfast also! This is our new favorite hotel to stay in when visiting Houston. Thanks too all of the hard working staff. You guys are awesome!"
"Was in Houston for a quick business trip and stayed at the Marriott Houston South at Hobby. Everything about my stay was fantastic. I utilized the airport shuttle, the drivers prompt and courteous. The front desk staff was amazing during check-in and check-out. Very professional and efficient staff. The room I had was modern and everything was in good working order. Everything was very clean inside my room and all throughout the hotel. Highly recommend if you’re in the Houston area!"
"Great service and an excellent room. Very large shower that was a huge bonus. Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING!!! Hotel shuttle runs 24/7 every 30 minutes! Never found that benefit at any other hotel I stayed during my travels. That's an excellent feature! Personnel are first class at the front counter and breakfast room!"
