"This place is wonderful! We came here from Corpus Christi for a medical appointment at Baylor that didn't go very well, but staying here saved the whole trip from being horrible. Excellent service, good food at the restaurant helped. They even went out of their way to deliver important paperwork to our appointment we had forgotten in our room after we checked out. This place goes above and beyond for guests. I highly recommend!"

"What a beautiful hotel ! We had to stay for a week due to a medical procedure for my son! While our nerves were on overdrive, the hotel staff was extremely kind, and compassionate! The front desk ladies were so sweet and kind , along with the shuttle driver, & maintenance gentleman ! The rooftop pool is amazing, along with the fire pits and hot tub . Thank you to this amazing staff at this location! Y’all deserve a raise or special bonus !"

"This hotel is amazing 5 Stars. We were so extremely thankful for this hotel to house us for 2 days prior to our family member’s surgery. We had booked at the Doubletree for 2 days after being in a vehicle for 2-10 hour days with a very ill and handicapped family member. He was exhausted and very sick after the 2 days. When we arrived at the Doubletree Hilton….no parking, sketchy location, lack of staff and horrible conditions. The hotel is open during construction and a full rate. Water was turned off for over 5 hours while people are prepping for surgery the next morning. Shame on this hotel for risking lives! Now my review for the Hyatt, we came in exhausted and couldn’t take on another disappointment. They were able to get us in right away and up to a room. I was able to drop everything at the front door….tones of say parking including handicap. Beautiful lounge, breakfast area, snacks and food to purchase after hours. Extremely large bathroom with handicap facilities on the main floor. The most beautiful pool, hot tub fire tables and amazing patio furniture where I spent much of my time. My family member was taken to the room and when the door was opened and saw that there was no carpet in the suite….he almost cried. It was easy to get around and clean for him to do his prep for surgery. There was a new sectional sofa with a pull out bed for me which I chose to not use till early in the morning. I enjoyed the sofas tv’s in the lounge till they were both asleep. Everyone in this hotel was so amazing for our 2 day stay!!! Thank you again Hyatt Robyn Oakes-Bain Grand Rapids, MI"

"Hotel itself is in good location for my wife’s visits to MD Anderson. Service is bad though. Waited over an hour for my room to be ready, when o checked in the previous night letting them know when I would arrive. The excuse was they couldn’t reach housekeeping in their own hotel."

"Overall, great stay. Pros - Hyatt has incredibly attentive and proactive staff. Loved that I could text when we needed something, and they asked unprompted how we felt about the cleanliness of our room. The lobby areas and hallways were beautiful, too. The panoramic suite was beautiful. Gorgeous view of the city with floor-to-ceiling windows. The TVs have Chromecast built-in, which was super nice. The kitchenette had a full-size fridge and mini dishwasher. Large bathroom area and shower. The pool was nice with towels provided poolside and has areas to overlook the city as well. It has a hot tub and tons of areas to lounge, too. Probably one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had. Huge spread. You won't go away hungry. Didn't try the restaurant, but I'm sure it's probably good. Overnight parking is just $15 added to your room at check out. Really easy in and out. Cons - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are pump bottles attached to the shower wall. No lotion available. No water glasses available either (that I saw). Just two bottles of Evian for $7 each. Yikes. I've had cheaper water at 5-star hotels. Unfortunately, you can hear the neighboring rooms when they raise and lower the window shades, and if you have loud neighbors, no doubt you'll hear them plenty. Ours weren't bad except for a single outburst. We also had a hiccup where I booked the panoramic suite, and it tried to set me up with a different suite during early check-in because the panoramic rooms were all booked out. It was fixed, but it's a must that the website gets fixed, so it doesn't allow guests to overbook. That was incredibly frustrating as the panoramic view was the main reason I booked this hotel over another."
