"What a gem. We were in town for the Houston Rodeo and I had looked for hotels near the Metrorail so we wouldn’t have to fight traffic to and from. If you are planning to come to town for the rodeo I highly recommend Heights House. A quick Uber ride away from the Preston Metrorail station. Hotel is smartly renovated in a fun, funky vibe. Room was clean and has the basics. There is a nice continental breakfast. John at the desk was friendly and helpful. Daisy the bartender was informative about the area. I even got to chat with the owner’s mom. We will be back next year for the rodeo! Fun hotel option at a fair price. I felt very safe."

"Enjoyed our stay during the recent freeze. Beautiful property, retro vibe, friendly staff. We rented 2 rooms for a few days; one so our staff could be near our kitchen so they could get to work. There was no microwave or fridge. In the other room, there was a fridge. Staff promised to get microwaves & and fridge, but after waiting a couple of days, we purchased a microwave for our convenience. Loved the complimentary breakfast and sports bar area. Pet friendly. We'll be back, want to experience the beautiful pool area."

"You get what you pay for. Rooms got the landlord special. Never use the comforter. Bathroom was tiny but did appear clean. I did stay on the "quiet side" and was woken up by other guests and the garbage truck on a Sunday night. Bar was nice. Location was iffy."

"This place is sooooo cute!!! The location was perfect too. I love the outside set up with the pool and tons of seating in bright colors. The breakfast was okay and they have a great bar area with TVs inside and outside. They have cute shirts and hats, had to snag me one of those. My fave though was the staff. The man working the front when I checked in was delightful (wish I was better at remembering names). He was so friendly and grabbed me some extra towels and blankets. The next day, we met one of the owner's mom and she was great too. The woman working the front that morning was really sweet too. I will definitely stay here every time I'm in Houston. ♡"

"This little throw back themed hotel is fantastic! The rooms are all different flexible space, there are passthrough walkways, pool, & outdoor hang out space! Relaxing gorgeous gem! Bed was perfect firmness. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Other guests weren't too noisy. You can't even really hear the traffic from the highway nearby either!"
