Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria

"Not sure this hotel meets the quality of a Hyatt Regency. Stayed here for one night. Valet costs are off the charts but probably consistent with the Galleria area. Room quality is subpar. Pillows and beds are really bad and not comparible to other Hyatt Regency that I have stayed at. Valet system is broken or poorly implemented. I got a QR code you scan that will text your claim number to the valet. You don't get any sort of confirmation after the text is sent. I ended up handing my ticket to the valet and of course, I get double charged. When I checked out, they said the bill was only $46 so I assume it added the second valet charge after I checked out. Also, I'm not sure the lobby button to open the doors even works for people who would need it."

"Hind was at the reception area. She made the experience seamless and comfortable. Extremely helpful and gave recommendations on some activities and restaurants that turned out great. Definitely coming back"

"As soon as I walked in every lobby employee greeted me with a smile even though they were slammed busy with check-outs and guests in the venues! It was the most welcoming experience to any property that I've ever had. I was greeted at the CAFE by Juliette (Ambassador) and was also greeted by Emely another Ambassador, icing on the cake, she also was amazing- The banquet Staff was another great experience. Have never stayed at a Hyatt but will definitely have to stay at this one someday! Check them out, true Texas Hospitality!"

"Hyatt Associate Ms Hind checked us in, and was friendly and efficient. Later, I came down to eat dinner in the restaurant and noticed that she was still working the front desk and treating all of the guests with the same politeness and was attentive to their needs. She spotted some children sitting alone in the lobby area and gave them some coloring books to occupy them which thrilled the children and made them so happy . Ms Hind has a beautiful heart and cares about the people around her. She makes Hyatt look good."
