"Went to check in and they denied me my room after my reservation had been made for weeks. I have a ESA dog with documentation and they told me although “they are but aren’t pet friendly” that I couldn’t stay there. I had to find a new hotel and then woke up the next day to a cancellation charge by the hotel! I inquired about it and they said they were not able to refund me a cancellation fee of $160. They cancelled on me. The service is HORRIBLE."

"I stayed here for three weeks and my experience was all over the place. The staff was overall very friendly especially at breakfast. Housekeeping was very inconsistent, when I checked in they told me it was by request only but randomly they would clean anyways. The room was good and I have no complaints, though I did have water coming through my ceiling at one point but they were quick to fix it. The location is very convenient to get to Lackland, it’s about ten minutes but gate traffic can add a lot of time. All in all I would stay here again and recommend it."

"Good location. Looks like they are undergoing renovations, so hopefully it will look nicer soon. It's kinda a mess at the moment in the lobby. Fortunately, you can't hear any of the construction in the room areas. The room is nice, although there are some oddities that look like renovations were done by a handyman rather than a professional. But it's a decent size and clean."

"Don’t stay at this location. It is pretty close to Lackland Air Force Base for those visiting. The location first floor is under construction. Supposedly, the rooms have been renovated, but you can’t tell. The carpets and furniture appear to be dirty. They needed to be shampooed. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom (Please see attached pictures). The shower door was coming out the wall, so I could only open it up a little. I notified the front desk that it was about to fall off and they never sent anyone up to fix it. The corners of bathroom were dirty and rusty and the sliding door fall off multiple times. Probably one of the worst Marriott locations I have ever stayed and I’ve been all over the world. The employees were very courteous, just the location was not well kept. Also, I am a Marriott rewards member."

"The staff are very friendly and professional, they never treat you like you're a bother which is great! Very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended for military and their families as they are super military friendly and super respectful. Complementary breakfast is great. Rooms are clean and spacious. There's a great restaurant in the same parking lot and a Walmart walking distance from the hotel. To be honest just a nice place to stay."
