Urology San Antonio (Medical Center)

"My husband has been a patient with them for about 8 months. Surgery aspect was great but regular office visits are a nightmare. Communication with office staff, and between all the different departments, is non existent. When you can get ahold of someone from the office, most of them are lazy and don't really care about the patients and getting them what they need. For example, we had to pay for a visit where my husband thought was going to be blood work and CT scans and they had scheduled the appointment for reviewing those results, which he hadn't even been scheduled or seen for so there were no results to go over and then the doctor had to fill out orders for him to go get the testing done. I've also called, on my husband behalf, for medication transfer to a different pharmacy and it's taken 3 continuous days of calling and the new script has yet to he sent over. When I Called the office today, the fax number wasn't even notated. I was also told it's a 24 hour turn around for a new script to he sent and uts been 72 hours. As I mentioned earlier, the surgery part of this urology center is great and went smooth. Its everything that comes after (which is usually alot) that was a headache and nightmare to deal with. So just prepare yourselves because this van be more tedious and stressful to deal with than the actual surgery part. They definitely need better communication and "customer service" if you will and actually give a crap about the patients that are being seen. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the surgery part went so smooth."

"I was so happy with the speed at wish I was able to make an appointment with Urology Of San Antonio. In the Diagnosis They determine that I had a urinary track infection in conjunction with a prostate infection. They were able to get their diagnosis almost instantaneously, and was able to get me on the right medication to a full complete recovery. I was in such pain when I got in. I was so thankful for some immediate relief. I was able to get the appointment the same morning that I had called.
