Envision Imaging at Southlake

"i have had lots of imaging at other envision facilities without any issues. i will do my best to never come back to this location. the front desk staff had me waiting so long to check in that i needed to sit down. they were not friendly or welcoming. that was no big deal compared to what happened next. my experience has left me shaken. my iv infiltrated and the tech, john, did little to comfort me. he threw a bedsheet at me when i expressed that my arm hurt and that the iv was not working. frankly, he was callous and uncaring. he made me feel afraid to speak up because of how he behaved; i honestly felt that he would physically hurt me. i felt very strongly that he didn’t like me because i am not caucasian. i asked for a break at one time because this was a two hour exam and i had laid still for an hour; he told me that wasn’t possible because then other patients would be waiting on him. he told me to take my things and turned his back to me once the exam was done. i had find my way out of the facility without any guidance. he made me feel small, humiliated, and ashamed. he’s a horrible human being with no compassion for a sick patient. i plan to tell my doctor and will advise everyone i can to not use this facility."

"As a leader in healthcare, I have to be incredibly honest and say I've never, ever had a better experience seeking any healthcare needs for myself or my family. Everyeryone in the office is focused, attentive and helpful. I interacted with the front desk registration staff, supervisors, discharge staff and even the manager as well as several techs. I must mention Samir who went above and beyond. He was incredibly communicative and helpful while we were on our way for an MRI for my daughter. He even helped save me some money. Kyla was able to squeeze me in for a mammo while I waited on my daughter to finish. Christina was an experienced and gentle mammograper. I am continuously impressed with their level of professionalism and patient centricity! I am still awaiting my mammo results, but, will continue to choose Envision Imaging in Southlake for all of our imaging needs."
