Paladin Cigars

"We had a business get together here and I was insanely disappointed. Literally the worst experience of any cigar lounge I've ever had. When's we arrived we were told that in order to stay we would have to purchase $30 in product a piece to stay. We said that won't be a problem because we have a large party of ten or more and we usually spend more than that. We asked to start a tab and were told that we couldn't start a tab. So me and my business partner went into the humidor and we carefully selected enough cigars to get us right at $30 just so we can stay. We were so focused on meeting that minimum that it caused us to ONLY spend $30. So we got four or less cigars that would get us through the night. Minimum purchases like this are actually counter intuitive to consumer mindset and spending behavior. Because I had to spend $30 up front, I got several lower cost cigars all at once for the whole evening as opposed to getting a Placencia or high end Padron later. My tab was essentially closed early on so I had no desire to get anything else after the initial transaction. Because of the policy we decided to let every man get his own bill. The seating is also pretty limited so I wouldn't reccomend a large party. Or propose to have business meetings here. I imagine this is the reason for the up front purchase. And finally our ash trays were not emptied the entire evening. The tobacconist did say the minimum purchase was a new policy and several regulars were clearly upset by it and were complaining so I hope this is done away with soon."

"I have been to plenty of shops big and small around the country. First off its clean, well stocked, good prices and the staff is knowlegible. They are also obvioysly pro 2A and believers. Since I am moving here in two weeks I jumped on a membership. The most reasonable I have ever seen. Lots of good folks and conversation. Looking forward to spending lots of time here."

"Updates: Lounge is now members only however they offer accommodations to enjoy their lounge with purchase of cigars. Also, the amount to be a member is very reasonable. Still BYOB and great humidor. I love this lounge. The staff is always so helpful and polite. The humidor is stocked with a wide variety of great sticks to select for your palate. They lounge is byob which is a plus! They sell one of my favorites, King's Cask, exclusively on this side of town. The lounge welcomes the mature crown and I love it!"

"Great place to chill and relax. They have a great selection and friendly people as well. I always come here to buy my cigars, butane and anything else I need. I highly recommend this place and it is very easy to find. They sit right at the railroad tracks on Hulen and Grandbury Road. Stop by when you get the chance and I promise you will feel welcomed there"
