"I would not recommend calling this law firm for a divorce unless you are okay with them only Being concerned with billable hours. I called asking about hiring an attorney for my divorce, and the lady only asked me what the total amount of our estate is worth. I said "my divorce" because I already have motions filed with the court, but am having to get different representation. I didn't get to explain all that to her because she quickly went on to tell me the attorney who may take my case has a $2,500 minimum plus will charge $275 for a consultation that may be prorated. When I said that minimum is a bit out of my price range, she then said "I'm sorry we couldn't help you". It's clear they are charging people without taking into consideration their specific needs."

"My experience with Diana Skaggs is she is only interested in billable hours. Three years after my divorce settlement, my ex-husband poked holes in our maintenance agreement, and I emailed Ms. Skaggs with a simple question. I understood I would have to compensate her for advice. However, her advice was to make an appointment. For that, I received a bill for $37.00. I find it appalling that she billed me to read an email. Not only did the agreement she negotiated for me fall apart, costing me tens of thousands of dollars, but she charged me $37 for zero services. I would not, and did not, retain this attorney again. My email stated I wasn't interested in retaining a lawyer at that time. If she knew her further involvement would require time and money, she should have let me know before pursuing the matter. I replied to her as soon as I heard it would cost $350 an hour to get an answer to my question. Her assumption should not have cost me."
