"Do not bank with this organization. - The customer service with this organization has been sub-par at best. They have done nothing to assist with a customer service issue and instituted every roadblock possible to prevent assistance with a critical issue. - Call-in assistance has not been helpful and many times redirected to various departments due to not being able to find a department representative who is qualified to answer questions about account related issues. - I am removing all accounts and would recommend others do the same before having these experiences."

"Hidden fees out the butt. Got charged over $200 when I was supposed to have overdraft protection. Money wasn’t withdrawn for those charges but they still charged me fees. I called to dispute, they wouldn’t help. I was unaware of this being in the contract and their response was “sorry you misunderstood”. I tried to freeze my account, they refused to do that. I’m closing my account with them and going somewhere else."

"Do not bank with centra! And don't listen to these fake 5star reviews. I would get fraud alerts for trying to make 10 to 20 dollar online purchases, but they allowed someone that had gotten ahold of my account number to make a $1000 transfer to a capital one account without question. I dont have a capital one account. This transfer overdrafted me even though I had asked for overdraft protection when I opened my accounts. They told me that my accounts were only protected for debit card use, so when I had to make all new accounts I asked for overdraft protection for everything, card, online, transfers, etc. A few months later an annual charge I wasn't expecting overdrafted me again. So this time I closed out all my accounts and switched to another bank. A few months later I get another centra fraud alert for one of the accounts I had closed. They never deactivated my debit cards. While the tellers at the madison branch are polite, the manager is always rude and hateful. If you try to call them they never answer, you always get forwarded to their 800 customer service line. If you call that line you have to expect to be hung up on while holding for a rep the first time or two that you call. I have also been hung up on by reps when I wasn't even being rude, yelling or cursing. When you do get through, the wait is usually 30+ minutes. They always try to give you the runaround, "you have to speak with your branch manager", branch manager says you have to call them, on and on until you finally get someone to resolve your issue. Stay away from centra! They won't protect your money or do what you ask them to with your accounts."

"Hello- Came in this afternoon to get a savings account set up for my son. I was told by 2 tellers that they had not done this in awhile so they did not want to do it. One teller asked me if I could come back in an hour. I told her it would be best if I could do it now while I was here. She rolled her eyes and said she guessed that she could do it. Finally her coworker (Kaitlyn) stepped up and said she would help me get the account set up. If you have employees that don’t know how to do the basic job duties then management might want to offer some more training"
