"I would give customer service a 0 if that was an option. The lady was extremely rude when I was trying to help my husband because he is dyslexic. Then she needed me to help with something after very rudely asking me to not be involved in the conversation. HORRIBLE customer service for an error on their part with billing. Clearly, billing is an issue of you read all the other reviews."
"My review will be based on my experience as a patient as I have not yet received my bill from my c section 3 weeks ago. I suspect from other reviews that will be a nightmarish process as well. I dealt with 3 different providers during my 20 hour labor and eventual c section, each one getting progressively worse. I unfortunately cannot provide any names because I kid you not, not a single one of them introduced themselves to me. Very odd for a doctor about to be administering your pain control. First one: comes in, asks if I’ve ever had an epidural before, any allergies, etc. I tell him no, even though that information was in my medical chart I suspect he didn’t read. He then goes through the process extremely quickly, sounding very rehearsed and kept interrupting me every time I tried to ask a question. He also kept including things that could go wrong and talking about it cavalierly as though if he messed something up it wasn’t his fault, which is not something you want to hear as a first time mom about to receive a needle in your spine. Anyway, everything went fine. Second one: my L&D nurse failed to notice the epidural bag ran out, so they had to page the on call physician to come replace it at 3:30am. He came in looking very disheveled, did not say a word to anyone, and kept sighing VERY loudly to express his annoyance, while also taking his sweet time while I’m writhing in pain feeling contractions for nearly an hour at that point. Third one: my labor was unsuccessful and he barged into the room saying he was there to go over a c section with me when that had not even been discussed with me yet. I tell him that, and he insisted. He wasn’t leaving and went through the process anyway, telling me I was going to feel everything, causing me to become overwhelmed and burst into tears. When I was taken into the room for my c section, he was terrible at managing my pain, I was literally screaming and my husband had to tell him to stop scrolling on his phone and do something. This was byfar the most traumatic experience of my entire life."
"My anesthesiologist was amazing for my surgery at Baptist. However, I got ONE bill from this office, put it on a payment plan then never received any other correspondence. Of course, it was forgotten about because I had other bills coming in from that surgery. I then get a letter saying I’ve been sent to collections, and had to sort that out there. This office and billing was horrible."
"BEST anesthesia doctor I have ever had for surgery! However, their billing department is THE WORST. I had surgery, paid all my other bills, then got the bill from these guys 6 weeks later. The bill was dated September 20 and I received it Oct. 5. It just so happened we had a death in the family and were gone for 1.5 weeks. I paid the bill online as soon as we got back. The next morning, I was getting harassing calls from them saying to pay it. I told them they needed to get their act together and send out the bills or a way to pay online ON TIME. Their billing office is the WORST and I hope I never have to deal with them again. They are horrible."
"I got my bill in the mail for my epidural. When i called no one answered. i left a message and also sent an email. I received no response from either. A week later i paid half the bill expecting to get another bill. I never did. a month later i received a letter in the mail stating that i got sent to collections. i called the original company. i got placed on hold then hung up on. i called back. got the same girl. explained the situation again. paid the rest of the bill. i asked for a confirmation email to be sent to my email. i never got it. i also asked for a letter stating that they removed the collection charges. never received it as well."
