"Elizabeth is one of the most warm and caring women that I’ve come to know, love, and appreciate through my sessions with her. She is more than a professional. You can feel the kindness in her heart but also the value she places into making it her mission to help you get through whatever brings you to her. I’ve been to over 10 different therapists, doctors, counselors, etc over the last 10 years. None of them compare to Elizabeth. She’s well educated and has worked side by side with some of the best doctors of mental health. I, personally, have suffered with severe depression and anxiety for several years. I actually look forward to my sessions with this amazing woman that God put in my path. That has never happened before. I usually would cancel my appointments with other therapists/doctors. I didn’t feel my illness nor my feelings and emotions was validated and usually was just given “homework” , reading material and, a sort of “check off list”. That never worked for me. Honestly, it only made my anxiety worse because I felt overwhelmed by the “work”. Elizabeth’s genuine concern for helping me was extremely transparent. I immediately began believing in her words and how she wanted me to retrain my way of thinking, “this is real, and your actions related to this dreadful illness isn’t your fault. You did not choose this diagnosis.” I feel a bit lighter after every session with her even if it only lasts a short while. However, I can say with certainty that I am hopeful for the first time in years that I’m emerging as more of my old self. The person I recognize. The real me. Thanks to Elizabeth!"
