Ramada by Wyndham Houston Intercontinental Airport South

"Contrary to all the negative reviews, my experience at this Ramada location was beyond expectations. My room appeared to have been recently renovated as everything looked shiny and brand new. The room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. This location is awesome as it’s only a few minutes from the airport; also the young gentleman at front desk was pretty nice and helpful. Looking at some of the pictures from other reviews and comparing it to my experience I can tell with good certainty that they’re doing some major renovation and overhauls here. I’m actually quite impressed. More like a 4 star hotel experience for me."

"Just to clarify, i give this hotel a 5 star review once you contextualize it into cheap hotels. You pay 60-80 bucks a night for free breakfast (its decent), a decently clean room with a comfy bed, and free shuttle bus from airport to hotel. Definitely not a luxurious experience, but worth what you pay for it."

"Close to IAH, which is why we chose it. Clean and comfortable. I find it funny that they offer breakfast when the Hot Biscuit dinner is right across the parking lot. The only criticism is my hold of my credit card has yet to come off and it’s been 1 week. We paid for the room in advance so this is something to keep in mind."

"Everything about this place was horrible! Dirty rooms, limited breakfast, TV channels a joke, lounge was never open, and customer service horrible! Paid for my reservation in advance for a concert and they also wanted a $60 deposit. I called this morning regarding the deposit, and I was getting less than what I paid. The front desk said because the wash clothes were wet with makeup and her exact words were "the stains don't come out" so obviously they have horrible housekeeping too!! Absolutely unbelievable!! Guess now days you can't clean your face with a wash cloth. WORST HOTEL EVER!! DO NOT book this hotel if your in the area!! 100% RIP OFFS!!!"
