Harrods Creek Apartments

"Long review but all true... Harrods Creek Apartments Updated Review Resident • 2018 - 2021 I moved in to these apartments in a rush because I was pregnant in 2018. They were decent enough and did the job of giving us a roof over our head. We lived here through 6 managers and 2 landlords. The first landlord was rarely around but things got done when needed. Maintenance was always on top of things. Fast forward to the new landlord and manager and stuff started going down hill Fast. The bugs went out of control, NOTHING got done in a timely manner and they picked and chose who was tended to first. I went months in winter with a child with out heat, we had to rip up our carpet ourselves (drs orders) and lay the flooring ourselves, we had to use our stove for heat and when it went out they tried to make us buy our own stove for them. They talk horrible about their tenants behind their backs. They claim to care for the tenants but they threaten and strong arm them into getting what they want and if that doesn't work they refuse to do their jobs and keep your home livable to force you into moving out. I had such HIGH hopes for these apartments but they are NOT a family community like they claim."

"These places are over run with roaches and bedbugs. The staff cannot be trusted. They do not enforce their lease unless it suits them. Tenants are constantly threatened with eviction. The heat doesn't work in half of the apartment. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone."

"At first we had a wonderful experience experience with this place. however the longer we lived there the less they seemed to care. i needed certain maintance installed for a potential job and after agreement from them and 3 months later, we had to complete it ourselves. They stopped spraying for the roach problem for months and when they do spray, they send an underaged child. We have a stalker neighbor that wont leave us be and my animals are scared to go outside bc of all the noise. My family is not safe here and we WILL be leaving."

"New owner and Property Manager are wonderful. They have put a lot more effort into maintaining and managing the buildings than the previous caretakers."

"The new owner is a good man and the people he has working for him are polite and do their job. Anytime I have a problem with the upstairs leaking to my dinning room maintenance comes to take care of it within 15-20 mins. The owner is good on helping when ever needed as well."
