"Great prices on fire arms"
"Big fan of Rural King because of the great prices on many items and just how convenient it is being so close to where I live. That changed when I went to purchase a special tool that I am completely qualified to own. Put it on layaway for the convenience of spreading out the cost but when I went to complete the purchase is when the problems started. First, the background check was delayed for an extensive period of time which is strange since I am 100% qualified and vetted to own that specific tool. I called multiple times to check on the delay and I got the, "someone will call you sir", in a snobby tone so I waited a couple weeks. Finally, I get tired of waiting and called again and was told that the I had to start the whole process over again. Ok, fine, I go back in and they tell me now that the layaway has expired and the specific tool I picked had been sold. They were snobby when I called to check but didn't call me to inform me that the delay had expired. To be fair, probably the store policy more then any specific employee besides the attitude but there is some level of incompetence in being so adamant that someone would inform me but then didn't do as they said they would. I am sure I will shop there again because of the convenience of its location but I will not be buying any special tools from there. They lost that business from me and I would recommend others go elsewhere also. There are plenty of places to go that does not, in my opinion, create a hindrance."
