Reviews
"This venue celebrates the story of a white man who composed minstrel music. There are so many other people in this world who deserves to be showcased that haven't been a part of the long history of racism in America. Horrible to have this."
"My dad and I visited to see Eluminator the ZZ TOP cover band. No doubt the guys could play the guitar, sadly we heard the instruments more than their voices. My first time there, disappointing."
"A season ending performance of selections from different musical numbers. It was amazing, Kentucky should be proud to have these amazing performers amongst their citizens. It truly brought tears to see such a gift being shared. I am grateful to have been included"
"I’ve lived in Kentucky since 1995, but until last year I had never experienced the Stephen Foster Story. We saw it again this year and plan to see it every year going forward. It’s an excellent production and a beautiful outdoor amphitheater experience. They have some food, snacks, drinks, and adult beverages, all reasonably priced. Having said that, historic Bardstown, Kentucky has some wonderful restaurants and architecture to appreciate. Plus lots of bourbon…need I say more!"
"Gad a great time. My grandmother took me when I was a kid. 30 years later I took my kids. Was a great show. I would recommend bug spray if you wear shorts."
