"Wanted to start this review by saying I’m a 2nd generation Austin native (south Austin near Brodie), and have lived in the neighborhood directly behind Cork and Screw for 6yrs. For YEARS I was longing for something, anything to pop up around the neighborhood that was walking distance. It’s been a food desert for a minute. With Cork and Screw/ Camp East finally came the answer to my hopes! I bring everyone here! My elderly mom, my clients, friends with children who want a kid friendly environment. Amazing selection of natural wines, the best Vietnamese food in town, and if you’re feeling spicy, you can even get a tattoo! I love love love this place and the hub they’ve created for the community."
