"Ok late post Oct 23' but I thought I should share this info with those who forgot that Texas is a state that does not sell alcohol on Sundays, you can go to a bar, buy beer or wine till a certain time but not hard alcohol. I totally forgot (arrived from Los Angeles on a Sunday =/ ), I was soooo looking forward to pre-drinking and not spending so damn much at a bar (ACL weekend). Blehhh had to wait till Monday, stayed at the Hyatt and read mixed reviews about other liquor stores, so I decided to take a nice walk across the river to visit this spot. The customer service was superb, they sell all kinds of liquor, you name it, they probably have it! Thank you! Ok I lied, they probably sell the popular brands, its not as big as a bevmo. LOL"

"I am changing my 1 star to a 5 star review as I have revisited this location and the new ownership/staff is really up to par when providing quality service in downtown Austin. I appreciate the new look and attitude. Thank you!"

"I recently called this location to ask about the price the woman on the phone was very curtious and helped me with my question. The price was 150% of the price else where, so if your in a pinch downtown this is your option downtown is just over priced that's how it works. If you can drive I'd suggest somewhere else."

"This place is always clean and conveniently located in the heart of downtown. The owner does a great job keeping the riffraff out and is always helpful when it comes to finding products. All the prices are reasonable. They aren't the cheapest in the State, but it's not even worth thinking about if you consider how much you would spend to get in your car and drive a few miles, wait in traffic and come back. If you are vacationing and want some alcohol for the room, or want to throw an after work happy hour, this is your place!"
